We are very happy to welcome you to the large family of readers of the Livestock Resilience and Competitiveness Project (PRECEL) website.

PRECEL is a project of the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal and Fishery Resources of Burkina Faso with a view to boosting the livestock sector in Burkina Faso. The Project comes into effect on December 18, 2023 for a period of six (06) years. The official launch of its activities took place on February 23, 2024 in Banankélédaga in the Hauts-Bassins region.

Its objective is to improve the productivity, marketing and resilience of the main sedentary livestock production systems for targeted beneficiaries in the project intervention areas.

As such, several achievements are expected. It is therefore necessary to make our activities on the ground visible.

On this site, you will find several resources including our activities, our achievements as well as information related to the project.

This site is designed to promote the vision and image of PRECEL and engage with you, the beneficiaries and partners. It is also a channel for sharing experiences through the dissemination of good practices in breeding.

I therefore invite you to use this tool to inform yourself about PRECEL activities and share your experiences with us.

Like any human work, our site could undergo, over time, modifications in this or that aspect to meet the expectations of our readers.
