The Livestock Resilience and Competitiveness Project Management Unit (UGP/PRECEL) organized this Tuesday, July 23, 2024 in Ouagadougou, the second session of the technical committee for the implementation of its activities in the presence of the Study Officer at the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal and Fisheries Resources, Mr. Saidou SANA, representing the Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal and Fisheries Resources. This meeting, which brought together all stakeholders from the thirteen (13) regions, aims to establish a framework for the implementation of the 2024 Agenda for Sustainable Development 𝑷𝑹𝑬𝑪𝑬𝑳 𝒂𝒖 30 𝒋𝒖𝒊𝒏 2024 in order to prepare the second session of the PRECEL Steering Committee.

In his welcome speech, the PRECEL Coordinator, also Chairman of the Technical Committee Dr. Soumaila BITIBALE praised the commitment of all stakeholders to achieve the Project’s objectives. He invited them to become more involved in the execution of future activities in order to achieve the Project’s objectives.

During this meeting, the participants reviewed the progress made in the execution of the PTBA as of June 30, 2024, identified the difficulties encountered and/or potential in the conduct of activities, formulated proposals for palliative solutions to the difficulties encountered and for the improvement of the PTBA for the year 2024. The participants congratulated the project management unit for the results already obtained and invited it to accelerate the various activities for an effective implementation of the Work Plan and the Annual Budget PTBA 2024.
