The management unit of the Livestock Resilience and Competitiveness Project (PRECEL) organized this Friday, April 12, 2024, an information and exchange workshop on the complaints management mechanism within the framework of PRECEL implementation for the benefit of the Regional Directorates of Agriculture, Animal Resources and Fisheries.

According to the PRECEL Coordinator, Dr Soumaïla BITIBALE, the project is being implemented in compliance with the provisions of the PRECEL Environmental and Social Commitment Plan (PEES), itself drawn up in accordance with the requirements of environmental and social standards as described in the World Bank’s environmental and social framework, and in line with current national regulations.
It is therefore essential that the regional departments, which are the technical partners for implementing the activities, take ownership of the mechanism for managing any complaints from project beneficiaries.

This workshop is being organized by PRECEL in order to determine how to diligently set up and operate regional complaint management units for PRECEL stakeholders.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Saïdou SANA, Head of Studies at the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Resources and Fisheries, representing the Secretary General, thanked, on behalf of the Secretary General, the strong mobilization of the various Regional Directors at this workshop.
