This component aims to strengthen the favorable political and regulatory environment and the institutional foundations to improve the performance and governance of sedentary livestock production systems in Burkina Faso. It will be implemented through three (03) sub-components:

• (i) support for policy formulation, planning and capacity building
• (ii) support for production and advisory support services and
• (iii) ) support for strengthening animal health services.
